Explore Spring in the Vermont countryside with a photo tour using its historic covered bridges as guideposts. Vermont has over 120 authentic covered bridges scattered throughout the state. Learn about the history and construction of these classic landmarks while exploring the return of Spring in Vermont.

We will visit half a dozen or so bridges. The exact route depends upon where the participants are located. Once you book a day for your tour we will send you GPS coordinates, a map of the route, and the contact phone number and e-mail address of the tour guide.

LENGTH: Full Day -- 9 am to sunset

TRANSPORTATION: Tour participants have to have their own transportation. GPS coordinates and road maps will be given out prior to the tour start.

SUGGESTED EQUIPMENT AND EXPERTISE: DSLR or mirror-less camera with control over focus and exposure. Having various lenses or a zoom lens would be a plus. Having a tripod would also be a big plus as we may be able to get a sunset or some early dusk shots of a village.

PHOTOGRAPHIC FOCUS: I will provide guidance on locations as well as coaching on exposure, and composition. Depending upon the interest we can also explore post-processing and editing.

STRENUOUSNESS: Not strenuous

CANCELLATION: Tour can be cancelled by the attendee for a full refund up to 3 days prior to the event. This is an outdoor tour, which is dependent on weather. We will not be able to take photos in rain or snow, but will provide a rain date close to the scheduled event. In case of tour cancellation or rescheduling, a refund can be issued.

OTHER AVAILABILITY: If you have a group with a minimum of 4 people, please feel free to request and alternate date for this tour by emailing localcaptures [at] gmail [dot] com.
