TOUR HIGHLIGHTS: Lilacs * Peonies * Shelburne Museum * Round Barn * Folk Art

TOUR DESCRIPTION:

Spring is stunning in Vermont.  Let’s visit the gardens at Shelburne Museum and take in the fragrant lilacs and peonies.  Take this tour to hone your skills photographing flowers.  While at the museum, we will also take advantage of iconic folk-art subjects such as the round barn, Shelburne Railroad Station, Colchester Reef Lighthouse and Steamboat Ticonderoga.

LENGTH: 4 hours -- starting at 1pm as the museum closes at 5pm.

TRANSPORTATION: This tour includes transportation to and from the hotel in the Burlington area. Pickup at your hotel in Burlington, VT at approximately 12:30p.

SUGGESTED EQUIPMENT AND EXPERTISE:

While this tour is for all levels, participants must have a working knowledge of their camera.  Be sure to bring all your lenses and a tripod if you have them.

We also suggest you bring water and personal snacks.

MUSEUM ADMISSION (Not Included): Adults $24.  Seniors / AAA Membership $22.  Youth $14.

PHOTOGRAPHIC FOCUS: Tour guide will provide suggestions for composition, shutter speeds, aperture settings, depth-of-field, ISO selection and white balance.

WEATHER: This is an outdoor tour.  Event runs in light drizzle but not heavy rain.  Bring or wear appropriate clothing for changeable Vermont weather.  We will NOT be able to take photos in heavy rain and MUST go inside if there is lightning in the area.  If bad weather prevents tour, a full refund will be issued.

CANCELLATION: Tour can be cancelled by the attendee for a full refund up to 3 days prior to the event.
