TOUR HIGHLIGHTS: Old Barns * Antique Tractors * Farms * Farmers * Fall Foliage

TOUR DESCRIPTION:

If you love to capture rural Vermont, with its old barns, antique tractors, and farmers who repair them, then this photo tour is for you. This tour promises to be especially colorful this fall.

We will travel throughout the Champlain Valley in Vermont. While there we will visit several farms with picturesque old barns and antique tractors. In a few of the farms we will get to talk with the farmers and hear their story behind the tractor restoration.

LENGTH: 4 hours -- the tour will start in late afternoon (around 4:30pm) to take advantage of the light conditions. After you book your tour, we will confirm the exact departure time.

TRANSPORTATION: For this tour, we will provide transportation. After you book your tour, we will confirm pickup locations and times.

SUGGESTED EQUIPMENT AND EXPERTISE:

While this tour is for all levels, participants must have a working knowledge of their camera.  Be sure to bring all your lenses and a tripod if you have them.

We also suggest you bring water and personal snacks.

PHOTOGRAPHIC FOCUS: Our tour guide will provide guidance on locations and sights. He will also show you the unique perspectives to capture the perfect shot, and teach the principles of composition. Lastly, our guide can provide guidance on shutter speeds, aperture settings, depth-of-field, ISO selection and white balance.

WEATHER: This is an outdoor tour.  Event runs in light drizzle but not heavy rain.  Make sure to bring or wear appropriate clothing for the constantly changing Vermont weather.  We will NOT be able to take photos in heavy rain and we MUST go inside if there is lightning in the area.  If bad weather prevents the tour, we will issue a full refund.

CANCELLATION: Tour can be cancelled by the attendee for a full refund up to 3 days prior to the event.
