TOUR HIGHLIGHTS: Fall Foliage * Waterfalls * Hiking * Aerial view of a lake * Sunset * Long Exposure Photography

TOUR DESCRIPTION: We will begin this tour at Molly's Falls Pond in Marshfield, VT. This beautiful pond includes wonderful foliage reflections, and two waterfalls. It is an easy hike (5 minutes to lower falls; 10 minutes to upper falls) and we will learn explore long exposure shots and see some amazing fall colors.

From there, we will pack up and head over to Owl's Head Mountain located in the Groton State Forest. Owl's Head Mountain Trail is a 3.2 mile back trail located near Peacham, VT that features beautiful wild flowers, a gazebo and incredible views. This hike is good for all skill levels.

LENGTH: 4 hours (3pm - 7pm)

TRANSPORTATION: You need to provide your own transportation for the tour. Maps and GPS coordinates will be distributed ahead of time.

SUGGESTED EQUIPMENT:
Digital Camera (DSLR preferred)
Tripod is useful, but not necessary.
ND filters for shooting waterfalls in day light (not necessary, but bring them if you have them)

OTHER SUGGESTIONS: We strongly suggest that you pack a lunch, snacks and some drinks. Also make sure to dress in layers, as Northern VT can get cold in the fall.

PHOTOGRAPHIC FOCUS: This tour will focus on the technical aspects of long exposure photography during the day. We will also cover reflections, foliage, sunsets, technology behind getting a sunburst in your shot.

STRENUOUSNESS: Strenuous. While the hikes are easy, it still requires a lot of walking.

MIN # OF PARTICIPANTS: 4 (reimbursements will be made if we do not reach that minimum 5 days prior to the tour date)

MAX # OF PARTICIPANTS: 10

CANCELLATION: Tour can be cancelled by the attendee for a full refund up to 7 days prior to the event. This is an outdoor tour, which is dependent on weather. We will not be able to take photos in rain or snow, but will provide a rain date close to the scheduled event. In case of tour cancellation or rescheduling, a refund can be issued.
