Last night we ran our first Night Photography Tour with night photography expert Jurgen Lobert. I was lucky to be able to participate in this inaugural tour.
Weatherwise, we could not have asked for a better night, and all six of us walked around and shot amazing photos for more than 3 hours.
Jurgen is an amazing teacher, and a great host. He taught us so many things — one of which I call the lazy exposure rule, he calls it the be HIP rule. Instead of waiting for multiple minutes to figure out whether you have the right exposure, try doing it 6 stops higher than what you will be shooting at.
If you want to learn more about Night Photography, take the tour. Bring some friends. It’s fun!
